This book... Deja Vu

Welcome readers,
So, I entered chapter 3 of this book. They introduced a new Sailor Scout, Sailor Mars, to the book. But here's the catch; they do this every chapter. Every chapter is introducing a new Sailor Scout. WHERE'S THE VARIETY? And I already know the general premise of each chapter because I watched the show growing up. The only difference is the book is a little more scandalous. It's a little less... child-friendly?
Reading this book is just a giant feeling of Deja Vu. It's not as fun as I thought it would be.

  1. I never had the chance to read the books... But I remember watching the show like errraday and I loved it. But every episode was the same with different villains. So it's not really a surprise that it's kinda repetitive in the books. Are they still good?

  2. They're good. They just came out in English this year. Do you remember that Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune were "cousins" and "roomates" in the tv show? Well, in the book, they are the lesbian couple they were in the Japanese version. It makes it worth reading.

  3. OH MY GOD I DOOOOOOO. As a kid I was always like "wait why is that man a sailor scout?" and then I was forever confused... Until I watched the movies I ordered online when I realized there were sweet lady lovin's. Do they kiss and stuff?

  4. I think so. This book is definitely more provocative than the TV show. They keep on having Sailor Moon in her underwear...
